Three Phase Line Reactors
Three phase line reactors are an economical substitute for isolation transformers when voltage transformation and true isolation is not required. They solve drive/inverter application problems by filtering power line disturbances which result in the nuisance tripping of circuit breakers and drives.
TRUE WAVE reactors are recommended for use in machine tools, elevators, UPS and HVAC systems and for all types of equipment that use drives or inverters.
Reactors with impedance ratings of 3% are usually satisfactory for most variable speed drive and inverter applications, however, when maximum protection for sensitive devices is required, a reactor with 5% impedance is the preferred choice.
Ajax TRUE WAVE Reactors are Designed to:
- Improve Waveform
- Minimize Power Line Disturbances
- Protect Sensitive Equipment From Power Line Surges
- Extend The Life Of SCR's
- Reduce Audible Motor Noise and Heat
