High Power DC Filter Network for Smooth, Quiet and Efficient Elevator Operation

D.C. Filter Choke Unfiltered ripple current generally produces annoying vibration and noise in DC elevator drives. A smoothing filter system can greatly reduce these undesirable effects and enhance elevator operation.

The AJAX High Power DC Filter Network consists of a properly sized choke and capacitor bank with the additional circuit elements required for safe, conservative operation. Chokes are copper wound and fuse protected. The filter network comes housed in a NEMA 1 enclosure with nameplate and wiring diagram attached.

The standard line of DC Filter Networks are sized as follows:
100 AMP to 30 H.P.	- Part No. 5CFN-100
150 AMP to 40 H.P.	- Part No. 5CFN-150
200 AMP to 50 H.P.	- Part No. 5CFN-200
Larger Non-Standard DC Filter Systems sized at 250 Amp to 70 HP and 300 Amp to 100 HP are also available. Please consult factory or your sales representative.
